THIS WEEK ON CHEESE THEATRE:
Comcast 26 at 10 PM on Saturday night (in Marin). This week’s offering is INTERNATIONAL CRIME, from 1938. A decent mystery, dressed up with the character of Lamont Cranston, aka THE SHADOW. In this version, he has no supernatural powers, no secret identity. But he does have a daily news column and other things that keep him busy. This flick also has Astrid Allwyn, a lesser-known actor(ess) who previously appeared on Cheese Theatre, in NO HANDS ON THE CLOCK. Yeah, I’m sure you remember THAT!
